Cookie Policy

This page explains which cookies and similar technologies are used by the website of Scognamiglio Giovanni S.a.s., Via Emanuele Gianturco 31/C, Naples, Italy (email: scognamigliomare@gmail.com), and how you can manage them.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser to remember information between pages or between visits. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage, work in the same way.

Technical cookies (always active)

They are needed for the website to work and do not require consent (art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code, Legislative Decree 196/2003).

sg_consent: remembers the choice you made in the cookie banner ("Necessary only" or "Accept third-party content"). First-party cookie, lasting 6 months.
Session cookies for the reserved area: used only by staff logging in to the administration panel, to keep them signed in. They are never set on the public pages of the website.

Browser local storage

Your quote list (the products and configurations you add) is saved in your browser's local storage (entry "sg_quote_list_v1") only so you can find it again on later visits. It contains no personal data and is not sent to us until you submit your quote request. You can delete it by emptying the list or by clearing this website's data in your browser settings.

Third-party content (only with your consent)

Some pages show content from other providers, which may set their own cookies, including profiling cookies. We load it only if you choose "Accept third-party content"; otherwise a box with a link to open it directly on the provider's website is shown instead.

Google Maps (Google Ireland Ltd.): the map on the Contact page. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.) and Vimeo (Vimeo.com, Inc.): videos on product pages. Privacy policies: policies.google.com/privacy and vimeo.com/privacy
Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.): our profile on the Projects page. Privacy policy: privacycenter.instagram.com/policy

Statistics and profiling

The website does not use statistics (analytics) cookies, nor its own profiling or advertising cookies.

Managing your choices

You can change your choice at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; in that case some features, such as the quote list, may not work.
